Second Visit

The Second Appointment

We will devote the second visit to showing you and your child how to prevent dental decay and gum disease.  Proper brushing and flossing techniques will be reviewed at this visit.  Also, a discussion will take place about your child’s individual diet and how it affects his or her risk of dental decay.  We will remove the plaque from your child’s teeth and apply a fluoride treatment.  If your child requires further treatment, the doctor will consult with you to explain the treatment plan and procedures required.
